Happy Sunday fabulous ones! Having made a vow this year to gradually switch the products I use to ones that contain natural ingredients and strive to use more ethical, organic products whenever possible I wanted to share my top 5 Neal’s Yard Remedies. I’ve been using various Neal’s Yard products for several years now so thought I’d share a few of my favourites:
Rose Facial Wash: I’ve been using the Rose Facial Wash for years now, it’s fantastic as the gentle foaming facial wash will remove all your makeup as well as leaving your skin feeling super clean. As with most of the Neal’s Yard products the smell is glorious, there are over 120 organic rose petals in every bottle.
Garden Mint & Bergamot Hand Cream: I keep the Garden mint & Bergamot hand cream next to my bed and try not to forget to use it before I got to sleep (this was a technique recommended to me by my nail technician to try to keep my hands soft and nails nourished). This divine smelling Hand Cream is made using freshly picked garden mint and bergamot essential oil.
Almond Moisturiser: I use this vitamin-rich moisturiser in the morning as it’s light and is absorbed by the skin quickly, you really can feel the difference. This moisturiser is also great if your skin is sensitive. I find that a pot of the mousturiser lasts for months and months so it’s well worth the investment.
Rehydrating Rose Facial Oil: The Rose Facial Oil is a relatively new addition to my skincare routine; I tend to use the facial oil before bed. The facial oil is recommended to protect against the toll of winter weather, central heating and cold winds.
Lavender & Aloe Vera Deodorant: Another new addition to my choice of less-toxic products is the Neal’s Yard Deodorant, this natural deodorant uses extract of alpine moss to fight the bacteria that cause odor. organic Essential Oils of Lavender, Tea Tree, Ylang Ylang and aloe vera. The smell is gorgeous and fresh and works as well and smells better than my previous deodorants.
