Lockdown has been impacting many of us when it comes to getting a good nights sleep. Guaranteeing you sleep well and wake up fully-rested is tricky with so much anxiety flying around. A couple of weeks ago I started burning the Scentered Sleep Well aromatherapy candle as part of my night time routine, so I thought I’d share with you a bit about the Scentered products and my experiences.
Aromatherapy To Help You Sleep Well
To give yourself the best chance for a full nights sleep, a night time routine is important. A nightly bedtime ritual will help you drift off into restful sleep. The Scentered therapeutic aromatherapy candles are made from a custom blend of natural waxes, sustainably sourced and non-GM, with pure essential oils for a clean burn and natural fragrance. The Sleep Well fragrance has a soporific effect, making you feel instantly relaxed. Needless to say, burning a candle just before bed is a dangerous game- so I tend to light mine in the bath, that way I know I won’t fall asleep with it still lit.
Scentered Balms are excellent. I used to keep the De-stress Balm on my desk at work, which acted as an instant fix to a stressful situation. The Sleep Well Balm is equally as effective, you can use it in bed by simply rubbing in on your temples and pressure points. The aromatherapy blend harnesses the therapeutic benefits of Lavender, Chamomile, Palmarosa and Ho Wood, and balances them with Bois de Rose and Geranium. The Patchouli, Clove and Ylang Ylang smell like a relaxing wellbeing spa.
If you’re struggling to nod off the balm is a great solution, as it’s easy to apply and the fragrance will give you a sense of calm. For any of you suffering with anxiety at night or otherwise, you can follow my practical tips that I hope will offer a moment of calm.
Sleep well.
Christine
“By helping us keep the world in perspective, sleep gives us a chance to refocus on the essence of who we are. And in that place of connection, it is easier for the fears and concerns of the world to drop away.”
