dermoi! are a skincare company that provide clinical facial treatments at home. You simply select the treatment you’d like and a certified and vetted facial aesthetician will come to your home. They also offer a wide range of results-driven skincare to purchase online. dermoi! offer many vegan skincare options and all their packaging is recyclable. I’ve been trying out the dermoi! range and wanted to share my experiences.
Recyclable Packaging
Dermoi deliver each order wrapped in recyclable packaging, which is a deal breaker. The gift boxes are made from a mix of recycled and waste paper and are 100% recyclable. Plus they’re beautiful quality so could be used again for storage or something similar. Their bubble wrap and mailing bag are 100% biodegradable too.
Orders over £50 also receive a 100% degradable dermoi! tote bag which can be reused countless times to prevent plastic waste.
I’ve been using the Osmosis Purify Cleanser, which is a gentle face wash. You apply it to damp skin and it creates a foaming soap. The Purify Cleanser leaves your skin feeling super soft and looking lovely and fresh. This is a gentle cleanser and the perfect addition to any at-home mini spa day or self-care session.
Vegan
As I mentioned, dermoi! carry a wide range of Vegan Products in their online shop. All except for two of the products used in treatments are vegan!
iS Clinical use 95-98% botanically-derived ingredients, meaning only one product isn’t vegan. The Warming Honey Cleanser contains honey and is therefore not certified vegan.
However, the honey is only purchased from passionate Californian beekeepers. Therefore, it is made from natural California blossoms and is cruelty-free.
The other product that is not certified vegan is Osmosis’ Soothing Gel which is used in various treatments. However, if you’re vegan, worry not! These products can very easily be substituted for something else during treatments.
The other product I’ve been using recently is the PCA Skin Collagen Hydrator, I’m convinced it’s actually helped to make some of the fine lines around my eyes become less defined. I’m a firm believer in embracing ageing and that beauty comes from within, so I’m not overly concerned about my skin ageing. However, I was surprised that some of the lines on my face seemed to have reduced. Wrinkles aside, the Collagen Hydrator leaves your skin feeling velvety soft and glowing so it’s a win-win.
