Bamboo is widely known to be the fastest growing plant in the world! The process of growing bamboo is largely eco-friendly too, as it is naturally organic. The majority of the bamboo grown globally is eco-friendly as it doesn’t require pesticides or fertilisers and needs very little water to produce. In this post I’m sharing eco-friendly and ethically made bamboo yoga wear ideal for staying comfy whilst doing your morning stretch.

Growing Bamboo Yoga Wear
Not only does bamboo grow rapidly, the bamboo plant releases 35% more oxygen in the air compared to other trees of the same size. This rapid growth rate means that bamboo matures within seven years. Once bamboo is growing, the intervention needed is minimal as it does not need to be replanted, each bamboo plant has a vast root network that continuously sprouts new shoots. This helps to improve soil condition and prevent soil erosion too.

One of the main contributing factors that make the fashion industry so polluting, is the heavy use of chemicals used in the manufacturing process. Chemicals aren’t needed to grow bamboo. One of the key benefits of bamboo is that it doesn’t need pesticides or fertilisers and only needs natural rainfall to grow.
